Brenda Kay Hughes, 70, of Starke, FL, peacefully passed away on April 24, 2024.  She was married at home to James A. Cribb in a private ceremony.

Brenda is survived by husband, James Cribb; son, Tyler J. Higgenbotham and brother, Billy Hughes.  Brenda left behind 5 grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren.  She also leaves behind Melissa Higgenbotham, Bonnie Smith and Connie Sanders whom she thought of as daughters.

Brenda loved working on her home, her family and her animals.  She will be dearly missed by all whom have ever known her.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Eric Burch officiating.
