William “Willie” Baker, Jr., 87, of Middleburg, FL, passed away September 16, 2017.  He was born on April 18, 1930 in Jacksonville, FL to parents, William and Thelma (Mobley) Baker, Sr.  Mr. Baker served his country in the United States Army and had worked as a contractor.  He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, playing poker and pool as well as making homemade wines. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Robert and David and his grandson, Michael William Brown. Survivors include his son, Darryl W. Baker (Diane); daughter, Pamela Brown (Billy); brother, Jackie Baker and sisters, Martha, Sandy, Gail and LaVania. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 30, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with military honors.
