Willard Mack Silcox, Sr., 75, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away October 18, 2017. He was born on September 16, 1942 in Haysi, VA to parents Lenton Curtis Silcox and Sarah Frances Bartley Silcox. Mr. Silcox served his country in the United States Army, being stationed in Germany. He had worked as a coal miner and in his retirement enjoyed fishing and watching TV. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife, Virginia Charlene Silcox. Survivors include his children, Willard Mack Silcox, Jr. (Deanna), Sarah Lynn Fuller, Larry Kender, Jr. and Tiffany Gayle Hoodenpyle (Seth); brother, Andy Silcox; sister, Justine Mullins; grandchildren, Derek Fuller (Brittany), Timothy Kender (Sierra), Christopher Kender, Charlene Hoodenpyle, Ethan Deel, William Hoodenpyle and Belle Silcox; great-grandchildren, Liam Kender, Owen Kender, Easton Lee Fuller and Ted Fuller and his beloved dog, Fe-Fe.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Sunday, October 22, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in Decoy Cemetery.
