Wayne Stanton, 80, of Fleming Island, FL passed away August 26, 2021. He was born January 21, 1941 in Athens, TN to the late Lee and Myrtle Stanton. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Martha Jones, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and 8 stepchildren. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services to begin at 3:00 pm with Rev. Michael D. Rodgers officiating. Graveside services to follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery with military honors rendered.
