Virginia "Ginny" Button Jones

"I grew up on a dairy farm, but I never milked a cow!" Ginny once told a friend.  

Born June 21, 1930 in Nelliston, New York, Ginny died on June 6, 2023 in the Pavilion for Health Care in Penney Farms, FL.  Ginny lived for twenty-three years in Penney Retirement Community with her husband, Nathaniel, who predeceased her in 2021.  

Ginny is survived by two nieces, Robin Brame and Sharon Billington, both of whom live in Pennsylvania.  She had numerous foster children, was very active in American Baptist Churches, where her husband served as Pastor for forty-eight years, and volunteered her services in many capacities in those churches and in the retirement community where she last lived.  

Her family invites you to attend a Celebration of Life Service which will be held in Penney Memorial Church on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
