Toni Lea Sneed, 77

Toni Lea (Burns) Sneed was born on March 24, 1949, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, and peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved daughter of Frank Burns Jr. and Bonnie Area Burns, and the only girl among six children. Her brothers were Sonny, Terry, Danny, Jeff, and Tim.

Toni was married to her loving husband, Ron Sneed, for nearly 50 years. She is survived by her daughter Lacy Sneed Doss (Ted/Trey), stepdaughter Lori Sneed Balcanoff (Rodd), daughter‑in‑law Ashlie Sneed, and five grandchildren: Dalton (Noelle), Daphne (Jason), Pierce, Carter, and Hailey. She also leaves behind three great‑grandchildren—Amelia, Asher, and Charlotte—along with many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

For more than 25 years, Toni worked as a Realtor in the Jacksonville area. She cherished the friendships she made and was grateful for every family she helped find a home. Toni was a devoted member of Lakeshore Church of Christ for the past 27 years. She loved her church family so much.

She found joy in time spent with family and friends, shopping, cooking and cheering for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Above all, Toni was a wonderful Christian wife, mother, grandmother (Nana/Nannie), and friend to all who knew her.

Toni was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bonnie Burns; her husband, Ron Sneed; her stepson, Cory Sneed; and her brothers Tim, Terry, and Sonny Burns.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped care for Toni over the past year during her battle with cancer. A special thank you to Dr. Zaiden’s team at MD Anderson & to all of the amazing staff at Middleburg Rehab Center. Your love, support, and kindness—especially from medical teams, friends, extended family, and the Lakeshore Church family—mean more than words can express. We love you all!

A memorial service will be held at Lakeshore Church of Christ on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 12:00pm with Pastor Jimmy Haynes and Elder Kevin Hyde officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the account established to assist the family with end‑of‑life expenses and final arrangements. https://www.gofundme.com/f/honoring-moms-memory-and-final-expenses
