Shawn Ray Taylor, 48, passed away suddenly on December 6, 2022.  He was born on April 28, 1974, in Jacksonville, FL where he was a lifelong resident.

Shawn loved and cared for his little dog, Dixie, as his most prized possession. Thanks to his sister, Rachel, Dixie has a new home.  

He enjoyed hunting, but mostly loved the time in the woods with his hunting buddies more than the hunt itself. 

Shawn was preceded by his mother, Judy Taylor.  

He is survived by his sisters, Rachel Smith, Sirena Smith and Jessica Cooper; his uncle, Pete Taylor; aunt, Helen Taylor; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
