Sandra Masters McCormack Welch passed away peacefully at Penney Farms Retirement Community on Thursday September 11th, 2025. She was born August 6th, 1939, in Rochester, New York to John and Rose Masters. She moved to Florida in 1960. She worked in banking and attended the American Institute of Banking before retirement.

Sandy was a loving wife for 25 years to Scotty who pre-deceased her. She was also pre-deceased by her second husband. She is survived by her twin sister Dona. Sandy had no children of her own but was a wonderful Aunt to her sister’s children Billy, Michael, and Jimmy.

She had a deep faith, that she lived through volunteering and charity. She served as an Intercessor, in Evangelism and a prayer minister. She also used her administrative skills for Calvary International. She enjoyed working with children and children’s ministries. She helped women at a halfway house to change their lives. She was active in Christian Healing Ministry, and recently a member of Penney Memorial Church Saturday Night Prayer Team.

She loved Jesus, cats and dogs, and people, in that order. She volunteered in various community activities such as, party planning, resale, ushering, mail delivery, and teaching crafts. She loved to care for the pets of her friends. She loved the beach, to cook, to craft, and to laugh. Making cards and stamping was one of her favorite activities. Our world is little darker now without her light, so we must brighten it with the fond memories we keep in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers or gifts please donate to Christian Healing Ministry. 438 West 67th Street, Jacksonville, FL 32208.
