Ruth Herbert “Monkey”, 87, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away September 4, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Don Herbert, Sr; and her parents Walter and Agnes Brown.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Frank Herbert (Mary Kay) and Walt Herbert (Melissa); daughter, Brenda Coon (Jack); six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

Ruth was a homemaker and loved to fish.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 16, 2021, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Bobby Baker officiating. (Due to COVID concerns, the family would like to keep the service for immediate family only.)
