Ronnie "Joe" Buchanan

Ronnie “Joe” Buchanan passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, surrounded by his family. Joe was born in Guntersville, Alabama on February 17, 1952, to Gene and Fay Buchanan. He served in United States Air Force and was later employed by Design Containers, Inc. until he retired in 2004.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents and brother Harold. He is survived by his loving wife Jennie, daughter, Leslie, son, Corey, daughter-in-law Beth, and three wonderful grandchildren, Cole, Chris and Laney. Joe is also survived by brothers, James and Daryl and sister Sandra Dotson all of Alabama, as well as his constant companion and best buddy, Tucker the dog.

Per his wishes, there will be no formal service. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
