Ron Douglas
Price
February 15, 1958 — June 19, 2026
Green Cove Springs
Ron Price, 68, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and countless lives touched by his kindness and generosity.
Born on February 15, 1958, to Curtis and Betty Price, Ron graduated from Englewood High School, where he formed friendships that remained strong throughout his life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anita "Missy" Price; his brother, Dwight Price; and his two sons, Adam Price and Brian Price.
Ron treasured both his immediate and extended family and made it a priority to spend time with those he loved. He delighted in sharing stories from his younger years and rarely missed an opportunity to show friends and even new acquaintances photographs from the many adventures of his life.
An avid outdoorsman, Ron found joy on and under the water, especially while water skiing and scuba diving. He was also an exceptionally talented handyman who never hesitated to lend his skills or his time to help someone in need. Ron never met a stranger, and his welcoming spirit and genuine kindness earned him the love and respect of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Harbor Baptist Church. In honor of Ron's love for Hawaiian shirts, family and friends are encouraged to wear one if they wish.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Warren Chesser officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, one of Ron's favorite charitable organizations.
Ron will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his generous heart, adventurous spirit, and unwavering devotion to family and friends.
