Rodney Allen Dodson, 70, of Keystone Heights, FL passed away January 8, 2024. He was born to parents Thurmond Edward and Norma Lee Dodson on May 7, 1953 in Charleston, WVA.

A graduate of the Christian Home and Bible School in Mt Dora, FL before joining the US Military serving both in the Army and the Navy. After serving he primarily worked in both the Commercial Construction and Trucking Industries.

Rodney was an outdoor person who enjoyed spending his time in the woods and mountains, hunting, fishing, grilling, and smoking various meat and food items. He also loved operating his tractor around his property and good times with his friends.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents. Rodney is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary (Kathy) Dodson; his son, John and his wife Monica; grandchildren, Kristofer and Kirra; Rodney’s sister, Deborah and her husband Jerry; nieces, Melissa and Courtney; and nephews, Cliff and Stephen.

Memorial Services to be held January 19, 2024, at 10:00am in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Chaplain Brent Beaird officiating.
