Robert Jon Preston, 80, Jacksonville, Florida passed away on October 7th, 2023. He was born to Bill and Erna Preston on December 10th, 1942. He graduated from North Miami High School in Miami, Florida in 1961. He joined the Air Force one year later and served for four years. He worked for the United States Postal Service after he left the Air Force. He loved his wife, his dog Fritz, and doing crossword puzzles. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beckie Preston. He is survived by his sons Walter Lundelius (Clara), Richard Lundelius (Melanie), his daughter Karen Chasez (Phillip), 15 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren. His graveside service will be held on Friday, October 27th, 2023 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery at 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida at 1:30 pm. A reception will be held at the home of Richard Lundelius at 4744 Derrickson Court, Jacksonville, Florida immediately following the service.
