Robert “Bob” William Hartley passed away on the morning of April 15, 2025, at Seagrass Villages in Fleming Island. He was 86 years old.

Bob was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and as a teenager moved to Florida with his family. He has spent most of his adult life in Clay County, in Orange Park and Green Cove Springs.

He served in the Army for three years as a medic. He retired as Vice President of Manufacturing at Florida Wire and Cable in Jacksonville. He loved race cars, especially Porsches, and owned several.

He was a member of River Christian Church in Fleming Island and was also a Mason.

He leaves behind his wife, Sandra; his son, Scott; his daughter, Stephanie; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
