Ralph Phillip Scully

Ralph Phillip Scully, 82, was born March 14, 1938 and passed away March 2, 2021.

Born and raised in Crestline, Ohio he worked for General Motors for some years then went on to the US Navy, where he served for 30 years and retired from there while in Florida.  He also worked for Kraft and retired from them as well.

He loved fishing, golf and bowling, but loved most being with his family and church every Sunday.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years Anna Scully, his father Anthony Scully, his mother Lydia Di Cross, his sister Emily Sheer and stepdaughter Carol Harpster.

He is survived by his sons Randy Scully and Ralph A. Scully, his daughters Angel McDonald and Tammie Layfield. Grandchildren Joey McDonald, Christopher Layfield, Megan Layfield, Ryan Jones, Jessica Mierau, Sunny McCarty, Bethany Scully, Randy Scully Jr, Brittany Pilcher, Ashley Faulder, Robert Scully and Caitlin Scully. Very many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was an exceptional man with all he did, he will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 pm. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery with Fr. Michael Pendergraft officiating.
