Pam Pulliam Glisson went home to be with our Lord and Savior on August 19, 2026, at the age of 78. Her passing followed a courageous five-month fight to recover from an accident, during which she was continually surrounded by the warmth, love, and support of the family she spent her entire life building and cherishing.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Pam lived her life with a steadfast heart, a selfless spirit, and a deep, unwavering love for Jesus. Her faith was the anchor of her soul and the guiding light in everything she did, shaping her into a constant source of comfort, grace, and strength for everyone around her.

For many years, Pam worked as an x-ray technician and medical assistant, caring for countless patients with gentle compassion before enjoying a well-deserved retirement. Though she was dedicated and hardworking in her career, her proudest work was always at home.

Pam had a remarkable eye for beauty and a genuine talent for decorating. She loved turning a house into a warm, inviting space- pouring her heart into every detail to ensure her family always felt welcomed and loved. Pam attended cosmetology school when she was younger and carried those skills with her the rest of her life. Up until the last few months of her life, she was the treasured and dedicated family barber/hairstylist. She enjoyed shopping trips and the simple joy they brought her. She loved it when her sister and favorite shopping companion, Carmen, came to town.

Above all else, her greatest joy was her family. She was the kind of grandmother whose house felt like an extension of home, creating memories that her family will treasure forever. Pam loved taking pictures of her family and truly cherished every single photo, holding each captured memory close to her heart. She poured her wisdom into raising her children and beamed with pure pride over her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She has been gloriously reunited in Heaven with the love of her life, Jeff, and her cherished son, Jake.

She is survived by her loving children, Daphne Gibson (Jeremy) and Luke Glisson (Tonya); her precious grandchildren, Lahryn Davis (Steve), Alicia Adams (Mikey), and Jared Glisson; her adored great-grandchildren, Waylon Van Tol, Callie Adams, and Carson Adams; her treasured siblings, Carmen Hamlin, Mike Pulliam (Erna), and Selma Nixon; and a wide circle of extended family and friends. Pam’s gentle warmth, bright smile, contagious laugh, and unconditional love leave a void that can never be filled, and she will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Russell Baptist Church and funeral services will begin at 11:00am with Pastor Chad Weeks officiating.
