Muriel Brasfield

Muriel Brasfield of Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully in her home, on August 20, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Farnborough, England, and later made her home in both Florida and Alabama, where she built a life filled with love, family, and friendship. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles and her youngest son, Johnny. 

Muriel will be remembered for her warmth, her resilience, wittiness, and the kindness she shared with everyone who knew her. Her journey from England to the United States was a testament to her strength and adventurous spirit. 

She is survived by four of her five children and their spouses; David (Phyllis Brasfield), Ann Marie (Tim Villalva), Nancy (Stanley Tanner), Darryl (Ruth Brasfield)-who were her greatest pride and joy. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Laura, Phillip, Katie, Ashley, JC, Chase, Matthew, Shelby, Stephanie, Briana, Leah, Brandon, Chad and Cristina and several great grandchildren who thought the world of her and will sorely miss her lively story telling, card games, and cup of Lipton black tea. Muriel leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories that will live on through her children, her family, and her friends.
