Michael A. David, age 76, of Fleming Island, FL passed away on March 11, 2024, after a long battle with kidney disease. 

Michael attended Barringer High School in Newark, NJ. He moved to NJ from Puerto Rico when he was three years old and relocated his family to Delaware in 1977, ultimately retiring in FL in 2013. He loved music – he was a great singer and guitar player and performed with his talented brothers in a band for years. Later in life Michael performed with his brother Eddie locally. He was known for his sense of humor, laugh and love for his family.  

Michael was preceded in death by his mother Esther, brother Melvin and daughter Daniele. 

He is survived by his wife Patricia David of 58 years, daughters Tina Konegan, Lisa Carr, Michele LaRue & Patricia McDonnell, brothers Eddie, Robert & Wilson, and his 99-year-old father Miguel David. Michael had 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 on March 23, 2024 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. The family will receive friends before the service.
