Michael James Calhoun Sr., 71, of Fleming Island, FL passed away on January 23, 2018 in Orange Park, FL. He was born December 22, 1946 in Murray, KY to Lueva Larkin and Cleveland Calhoun. Mike was raised in Louisville, KY. He graduated from the University of Louisville and was married to Joyce Elaine Klosterman on March 8, 1968. Mike was an active member of Good Samaritan Episcopal Church for many years.  He enjoyed playing golf and spending time outdoors. He will most be remembered for the love of his family and his hospitality. Mike was proceeded in death by his parents, sister Pat Widener, and his wife Joyce. He is survived by his son Michael Calhoun, daughter Michelle Longest, granddaughter Trinity Longest, sisters Jo Sutherland (Charlie) and Karen Kolish (Charlie), several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be at 11:00 on Friday, January 26th at Grace Anglican Church located at 5804 Highway 17 in Fleming Island, FL.  In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Haven Hospice located at 745 Blanding Blvd. in Orange Park, FL.
