IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Victoria
"Vicky" Klyzub
February 6, 1948 – December 14, 2025
Mary Victoria "Vicky" Klyzub, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 14, 2025, at the age of 77. Vicky was born in Racine, Wisconsin, on February 6, 1948.
Vicky's life was one marked by dedication and generosity. As a Navy reservist and a nurse for over 40 years, she touched the lives of many with her caring nature and unwavering commitment to helping those in need. Her husband John's 30-year Navy career took their family on adventures across the country, where they raised their three daughters, Michele, Rhonda, and Kristine.
One of Vicky's greatest joys in life was her three grandchildren, Andrew, Joshua, and Kathryn, whom she cherished dearly. Known affectionately as ‘Nana Bird’ she poured her heart and soul into creating special memories for them, whether it was through sewing Halloween costumes, playing board games, crafting, or whipping up delicious meals in her kitchen. Vicky was known for her culinary skills and generosity—no guest ever left her home hungry, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand, even to strangers.
A fond memory that captures Vicky's kind and giving spirit is the time she assisted a young man in a grocery store, guiding him in selecting the right ingredients to bake cupcakes for his girlfriend on Valentine's Day. Her selflessness and willingness to help others were qualities that endeared her to everyone she met.
Vicky is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, John, her three loving daughters, Michele McNeill (David), Rhonda Klyzub, and Kristine Klyzub, as well as her adored grandchildren, Andrew, Joshua, and Kathryn. Her legacy of compassion, generosity, and love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
May she rest in peace, knowing that the love and kindness she shared will continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives she touched.
