Mary Alice Owen, 93, of Fleming Island, FL, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 6, 2020. Mary was born on April 12, 1927 in Point Clear, Alabama. She was very active in her church and was a loving mother and grandmother. Mary was a member of Harbor Baptist Church on Fleming Island.

Mary is survived by her two children, Sharon Gast and Allen Owen and son-in-law, Gary Gast and brother-in-law, Robert McGinley and many nieces and nephews.

Mary is proceeded in death by her loving husband of 31 years, Clarence A. Owen, her grandson, Ryan Gast, two brothers, Laverne Nelson and Willie Nelson, four sisters, Lorna Beek, Sarah Milstead, Grace McGinley and Francis Godbey.

Due to the pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a future date.
