Mary E. Lanier, 95, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on May 4, 2023.  She was born on January 17, 1928 in Pulaski, GA to the late John B. Gordan & Allie Ada (Sapp) Blalock. Mary was a member of the Edgewood Heights Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL and enjoyed crocheting, baking, and word puzzles.  She loved to play practical jokes.  Mary will be remembered for her love and laughter.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard I. Lanier.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Iva Jane Keyworth (Scott); son, Richard G. Lanier (Leslie); granddaughter, Jessica Keyworth Mortimer; and great-grandchildren, Athena, Arabella and Isaac.
