Mrs. Martha “Marty” Pigue Allen, 79, of Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on June 2, 2026.

Marty was born on November 7, 1946, in Green Cove Springs, Florida, to the late Herschel Vernon Pigue and Martha Ramsey Pigue. On December 1, 1970, she married the love of her life, James Ronald “Ron” Allen, and together they shared 56 wonderful years of marriage.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Ron Allen; his children, Rhonda (Jimmy) and Keith (Wendy); and many other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Marty graduated from Clay High School (Class of 1965) in Green Cove Springs, Florida, Freedom Baptist Bible College in Orlando, Florida, and St. Johns River State College in Palatka, Florida.

Throughout her life, Marty faithfully served the Lord through her gift of music, playing the piano in church for more than 56 years. She found great joy in decorating her home, gardening, and raising chickens. Marty loved traveling with Ron in their motor home and enjoyed riding alongside him on her own purple motorcycle.

A talented seamstress, Marty lovingly sewed clothes for Rhonda and Keith throughout their childhood. She was also Ron’s trusted partner and bookkeeper in their many business ventures.

Marty will be remembered for her deep faith, loving heart, strong work ethic, and devotion to her family. Her legacy of love and service will continue to live on in all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church of Green Cove Springs. Family will receive guests starting one hour prior at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.
