Marguerite “Peggy” Kyser passed away peacefully from complications brought about by ovarian cancer, Sunday night, the 29th of January 2023.
Peggy was born in Cleveland, Ohio to her parents Charles R. Moore and Florence E. Moore (nee Wohlfeil) on March 2nd 1940. Her mother Florence passed away December 10th 1953 from Multiple Sclerosis.
She spent most of her childhood in Cleveland, Ohio, until her father and Step-Mother Geneva D. Moore (nee Wayt) moved to the nearby town of Brooklyn. It was there that Peggy met her husband Richard J. Kyser while attending Brooklyn High School.
Peggy and Richard married in 1957 and lived in Brooklyn Ohio where they raised three boys, Mark, Matthew and Michael. Peggy also worked as a customer service supervisor for the nearby Kmart in Brooklyn for many years before she and her husband moved to North Port, Florida after his retirement. She resumed working for Kmart in the Venice Florida area before retiring after 30 years employment with them.
Two years after the passing of her husband, she moved to Middleburg, Florida in 2022 to be closer to her youngest son and his wife Maria, whom she considered her daughter and friend. She became a resident at Penny Retirement Community in October 2021 and enjoyed the scenery and people she would meet going on her daily walks.
She will be remembered for her sweet personality and friendliness to people and their dogs that she would meet on her daily walks. She talked often of her grandchildren, Neil, Paula, Sarah, Daniel and Katie whom brought her so much joy.
She is preceded in death by her oldest son Mark, and her husband Richard.
Peggy is survived by her middle son Matthew (Kathy), and their children Neil and Paula; her youngest son Michael (Maria) and her daughter-in-law Karen and her children Sarah, Daniel and Katie.
Per her wishes, there will not be a funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a charitable donation to The Pavilion for Health Care, and/or Community Hospice & Palliative Care, both provided exceptional care and compassion to Peggy during her stay in Hospice.
