Margaret Bennett Acheson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully passed away in the early hours of February 12, 2026, in Fleming Island, Florida. She was 65 years young; born and raised in Hialeah, Florida but lived most of her life in Fleming Island, FL. Margaret’s warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. She had a full life in Fleming Island, where she found joy with her family and friends, creating memories that she cherished deeply. Some of these memories include her and her husband spending much of their time traveling to many places all over the world.

Margaret was a shining light in her community. As a member of Pinewood Church for 35 years, she dedicated her life to teaching Sunday school and sharing her faith through Bible study, always eager to help others grow in love and kindness. Her laughter was contagious, and her love for the Lord was evident in everything she did.

She was married for 44 wonderful years to her loving husband, Stephan. She was a proud and caring mother to her daughter Stephanie Burris (Rob) and her son Matthew Acheson (Sarah), and she embraced her step-child Lisa as her own. Her grandchildren— Jackson and Elizabeth Burris and Everly and Bennett Acheson —brought her immense joy, and she adored her five step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Margaret also leaves behind her beloved sister Sharon Katuin (Gary) and brother Jim Bennett (Leigh), who were very important to her.

Margaret’s beautiful spirit, her unwavering faith, strength, determination, and her joyful laugh will be dearly missed. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion that will forever live in the hearts of all who knew her.
