Lois (Lolly) Lorene
Perry
July 15, 1946 – April 11, 2026
On April 11th, Lois ‘Lolly’ Perry went to the home she spoke of so often. While there is a hole in the hearts of her family, we find comfort and peace in knowing she is where she always longed to be. Anyone who knew Lolly knew two things: she loved Jesus, and she had an unbreakable loyalty and love for her family.
Each morning, Lolly began her day with a weak cup of coffee you could see straight through, then opened her Bible to spend quiet time alone with Jesus. She took every opportunity she could to share the gospel—whether with strangers or those she knew. She spent 61 years with the love of her life, Mitchell, whom she lovingly called Calvin for reasons we don’t know, but he always knew to respond when she called him that.
Lolly is survived by her husband, Mitchell Perry Sr., and her two children, who meant the world to her: Lori (Lee) Romig and Mitch Perry (Tina Perry). Lolly had five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, whom she taught so much about how to be a good person, how to cook and bake, how to have faith, and so much more.
Her grandchildren are Tracy Walton (her late husband, Maurice “Reese” Walton), Katilyn Ellis (Aaron Ellis), Ashley Romig, Brittney Romig (Sarah Romig), and Samuel Perry (soon to be Ryleigh Perry). Her great-grandchildren are Jaden and Jaela Walton (Tracy), and Olivia and Mason Ellis (Katilyn and Aaron).
Lolly was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held in the Broadus-Raines Chapel on Friday, April 17th, 2026 at 11:00am with Reverend Mitch Perry officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 10:30am.
