Linda Gail Lewis Douglass, 72, of Middleburg, FL, passed away July 11, 2017.  She was born on November 1, 1944 in Alma, GA to parents Clinton and Oletha (Johnson) Lewis.  Mrs. Douglass worked as a telephone operator for AT&T.  She was preceded in death by Clinton and Oletha Lewis (parents) and Bernie Lewis (brother). Surviving her death are George Wesley (Pete) Douglass (husband); Devin Douglas (son); Monique Douglas (granddaughter); Gerald and JoAnn (sister) Taylor; Wayne Lewis (brother), Benjie (brother) and Sybil Lewis and Mike and Cathy (sister) Lyon. Funeral services will be held at 12:45 pm Saturday, July 15, 2017 at First Coast Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Edwards and Dr. Ken Pledger officiating.  The family will receive friends in the church from 12:00 pm until service time.  Interment will follow in Swift Creek Cemetery, Lake Butler, FL.
