Kevin Wayne Parker, 52, of Fleming Island, FL passed away on March 18, 2026. Born on April 18, 1973 in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was a beloved husband, father, uncle, brother, son, and shipmate.
He graduated from Comeaux High School in 1991 and joined the US Navy. He met his wife Bonnie at his first duty station in Jacksonville, FL. He retired as an AD Senior Chief after 23 years of dedicated service, and with a bachelor’s degree in aeronautics. He continued his education earning his master’s degree in business administration.
Kevin was known for his outgoing personality, humor, and kind spirit. He was devoted to his family and friends, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Kevin is survived by his wife of 30 years, Bonnie Parker, his son Aaron Parker, his daughter Abby Truax (Hayden), his mother Debra Landry, stepfather Steve Landry, and sister Angela Durocher. Kevin was predeceased by his father James Allen Parker, Ma Ma Cora Clark, and Pa Pa Ben Clark and his dog Saylor.
A memorial service will be held on March 31, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Jacksonville National Cemetery located at 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
