Justin Robert Thornton, Sr., 30, of Orange Park, FL passed away on June 11, 2018.  He was born on February 18, 1988 in Jacksonville, FL to parents David K. Thornton and Bobbie K. (Ward) Talerico.  Justin enjoyed skateboarding and fishing. He loved being in or on the water especially the beach, the ocean was his playground.  Justin will be remembered for his huge heart, jokes, smile and beautiful blue eyes.  He was talented, strong, handsome and extreme.  He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Michael Talerico, Sr., his brother, Austin Baker and his great-grandmother, Bernice Granthum.

Justin is survived by his loving mother, Bobbie K. Talerico; father, David Thornton (Elizabeth); son, Justin Robert Thornton, Jr.; daughter, Rayleigh Glenn Watson; sisters, Jessi Kaye Price (Zack), Jordan Taylor Thornton, Megan Baker and Kayla Baker; grandparents, Bob & Linda Ward and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00pm on Monday, June 18, 2018 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.
