Joyce Jeffers was born March 22, 1941. She passed away June 8, 2026. She was the wife of Harry Lee Jeffers. Joyce was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Fred and Merrill Alford. Joyce worked as a Clay County school bus driver, which she loved. She was a member of the Doctors Inlet Church of God. Joyce will be remembered for her love for the Lord, love for people, and her beautiful smile.

Joyce is survived by her children Wanda(Del) Fouty and Wendell(Liz) Jeffers; her sisters Irine DeGolyer, and Jackie(Paul) Fowler; her grandchildren Joyce Lynn, Eddie, Nikki(Justin), Chris, Julia(Keith); her great grandchildren Justin (Sierra), Hunter, Victoria(Ethan), Hope, Warren, Landen, Wyatt, Quill, and Dawson; her great-great grandchild Ellieanna. Joyce is preceded in death by parents, Fred and Merrill Alford; husband, Harry Jeffers; child, Debra Gail Jeffers; great grandchildren, Stroud babies and Baylee Joe Hudson; great-great grandchild Walker Lee. 

Funeral services for Joyce will be held on Saturday, June 13 at 10:00AM at Doctors Inlet Church of God with Rev. Mitchell Snowden officiating. Friends are welcome to arrive starting at 9:30AM. Burial at Peoria Cemetery will follow.
