Joshua Wayne
Farris
April 28, 1981 – April 25, 2026
Josh Farris, 44, of Orange Park, FL passed away on April 25, 2026.
Joshua was born in Simi Valley, California, to Debbie Hartley and David Farris.
He proudly served in the United States Navy for 24 years as an Aviation Ordnanceman, achieving the rank of AO1. His dedication to service and country was a defining part of his life.
Joshua had a deep love for motorcycles and took great pride in his customized 2019 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. He found joy in the open road, often riding alongside friends, and cherished time spent on the water – whether boating or relaxing at the beach.
Known for his outgoing nature, Joshua loved being around people and had a rare ability to connect with anyone he met. His reach extended across the globe, forming friendships on many continents throughout his military career. Once you were his friend, you were a friend for life.
He was admired for his humor, knowledge, and genuine good-hearted spirit. Whether among fellow service members, bikers, boaters, or playing basketball with friends’ children, Joshua could fit in anywhere and made everyone feel welcome.
Joshua is survived by his fiancée, Kimberly Fatuch; her daughters, Andrea and Gabriella; his mother, Debbie Hartley, father David Farris and his wife Venus, stepfather Leon Hartley and his wife Joanie, his sister Amy Vang and her husband Sou and their seven children.
He will also be deeply missed by his beloved dogs, Maya and Sophie, and his cats, Kawasaki and Shadow.
Joshua was truly one of a kind – a stand-up, kind-hearted man who would go out of his way to help family and friends in any way possible. He loved in his own way, but always with his whole heart.
The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am on Friday, May 15, 2026, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel and funeral services will begin at 11:00am with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating. Full military honors will be rendered.
