Joan Lavon Mosley lived in Green Cove Springs, Florida she passed away at the age of 78 on Sunday, August 7th, 2022. Joan was born to Mable (Mosley) Jones on September 17th, 1943. She was a housewife, and she was married to Ray V. Mosley Jr. (Deceased). She loved fishing, cooking, and being surrounded by her loved ones. She will be remembered as being a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband Ray V. Mosley Jr., Mother Mable Jones, Stepfather Theadore Jones, Stepdaughter Diane Baker, Son-in-law Joseph Hall Sr. She survived by her daughter Sharon Hall of Green Cove Springs, Her sisters Patsy Costa (Mike King), Judy Baxley (Phil), and Sylvia Mosley, Her grandchildren Toni Seabeck, Joseph (JJ) Hall Jr. , Brooke Hall, Michael Cook, Chad Cook, and Chris Cook, her great grandchildren Braden Seabeck and Hailey Seabeck and her nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, August 19, 2022 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. The funeral will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Black Pond Baptist Church with Reverend Charlie Hunt and Reverend Ronnie Surrency officiating. The interment will follow the funeral at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
