Jean Barbara Kipple, 79, a longtime resident of Davie, Florida, passed away on July 11, 2026, at her daughter's home in Middleburg, Florida, where she lived for three and a half years. She was born on March 21, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Raymond and Janet Rutherford. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her siblings, Raymond Rutherford Jr. and Bonnie Colpitts.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Beth Bernard and Vanessa Albright, and her siblings, Janet Shepherd, Robert Rutherford, Nancy Graves, and Brian Rutherford. She was blessed with seven grandchildren (Joey, Emily, Jonathan, Aaron, Rebecca, Kelly, and Danielle) and seven great-grandchildren (Judah, Carson, Wesley, Moxi, Luke, Boone, and Micah).
Jean was known for her generous heart and giving spirit. She never wanted anyone to leave her home empty-handed, always finding something to share. She was hardworking and loved creating with her hands. Whether woodworking, crocheting, or making crafts, she poured care, creativity, and pride into everything. Whatever Jean created, she wanted everyone to have one—a reflection of the joy she found in sharing her talents with others. Always willing to help, Jean was never one to sit on the sidelines. If there was work to be done, she was ready to jump in. She brought energy and enthusiasm to every task, readily lending a hand wherever she was needed. Those who knew Jean will remember her for her lively spirit, her creativity, and the joy she found in sharing with others.
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23
