Jan “Rick” Panella, 68, of Middleburg, Florida passed away on October 19, 2019. He was born to Joseph Frank and Mary Elizabeth Panella on January 6, 1951 in Norfolk, Virginia.

Rick owned his own company within the Industrial Refrigeration industry which he took great pride and loyalty with his customers. Rick was an avid fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars from day one. He will be remembered most for the unconditional love that he had for his family.

Rick is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Jason Panella and his wife Mindy; grandson, Garrett Panella; granddaughter, Evangeline Panella; Brother, Michael Panella; Sister, Jovita Burrell; Nephew, Ethan Sadler; Niece, Lane Burrell.

A Memorial Service celebrating Rick’s life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 1, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Middleburg with Pastor Ralph Estevez officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Haven Hospice
