James William Welles Jr. 55 of Keystone Heights, passed away at his home on Friday, May 14, 2021. Born to James W. “Butch” Welles Sr. and Judith A Magruder Welles in Albion, NY on May 29, 1965, he grew up in Clay County, FL.  He was a carpenter who enjoyed family and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his wife Deanna Welles, his son James Dean Welles, and stepdaughter Brittany Miller. He is survived by his mother Judith M Welles, his daughter Ginger Welles, stepson Brandon Miller, brother Shawn (Jane) Welles, sister Denise (Dale) Cercy and 2 grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the Broadus-Raines Chapel.
