James Lawson Mock

James Lawson Mock, 84, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away February 18, 2021. He was born June 23, 1936 in Jacksonville, FL to Horace and Juanita Mock.

Loving father and grandfather. Long-time resident of Green Cove Springs. Jim enjoyed spending time with his two sons, rodeoing in early years watching his sons compete. He was a carpenter and a long-time employee & friend of the Gustafson family. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and raising livestock. Jim was a great friend to everyone & was adored by many.
Preceded in death by his parents & sister Mary Moore. Survived by his sons James Mock (Brenda), Ronald Mock (Veneta). Grandchildren Erika, Kimberly, Alan, Brittany, & Lane. Great grandchildren Kolton, Jensie, Layla, Brantley & Aleigha.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Saturday, February 27, 2021 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. The funeral service will start at 11:00 am with Pastor Larry Hall and Brother David Eddins officiating. Graveside services to follow at Penney Farms Cemetery.
