James “Jim” Lancaster, 67, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019. He was born to James Lancaster, Sr. and Dorothy Lancaster of Jacksonville, FL on September 15, 1951.

Survivors are his daughter, Karen Lancaster; granddaughter, Maria Lancaster of Green Cove Springs; sisters, Gail Lancaster Whissen and Cindy Lancaster; nieces and nephew, Melissa Calcote, Harald "Tank" Gatza and Shawnna Walsh.

Jim's uncle and aunt were George and Mae Painter of the former Painter's Poultry on Fleming Island.  Jim worked 31 years for the City of Green Cove Springs, retiring in 2009 as a Water Line Mechanic Supervisor.
