James “Al” Alton Brooker, 73, Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019.  He was born on June 1, 1946 in Green Cove Springs, FL to the late James and Annie (Daniels) Brooker.  Al graduated from Clay High School and worked for Winn-Dixie for many years.  He was happily married to Nellie Lang Brooker for 33 years and enjoyed playing on the computer and watching videos.  Al will be remembered for his love for Nellie.  He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Joann Brooker, Betty Green, Dottie Allen and one brother, Jay Brooker.

Al is survived by his loving wife, Nellie Brooker; brother-in-law, Jim Green and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at 1:30pm on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 12, 2019 with Reverend Russell Franklin officiating and burial will follow at Long Branch Cemetery.
