James “Bo” Davis, 56, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away April 7, 2018.  He was born on September 26, 1961 in Brooklyn, NY to the late James Francis and Mary Jane (Fisher) Davis.  Bo came to the area fourteen years ago from Long Island, NY and was a very involved, strong and loyal family man.  He was a star running back for the Massapequa Mustangs and loved the Fighting Irish Notre Dame Football.  He was a beloved husband, father and brother. Bo is survived by his “high school sweetheart” and loving wife of 32 years, Cynthia Maria Davis; daughters, Tina and Jessica Davis; brothers, Tom Davis (Vera), Steve Davis (Janet) and Peter Davis; sisters, Sue and Janet Davis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Emma Vitrano; brothers-in-law, Anthony, Joseph and Michael Vitrano; and sister-in-law, Christina Canni. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 11:00am on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.
