Jacqueline Newell Hayes, 73, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away January 18, 2018.  She was born on April 16, 1944 in Norfolk, VA to the late Homer and Madlyn (Barnes) Newell.  Mrs. Hayes was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. She was a beloved school teacher for 32 years at San Jose Episcopal Day School and enjoyed traveling extensively with her husband, Norman Keith Hayes.

Mrs. Hayes is survived by her husband; her daughter, Robin Kinnear and her beloved grandchild, Riley Kinnear.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church with celebrant, Fr. Britt.
