Obituary for Hazel Earline Thibodeaux Hadley Harrell

The lord acquired a beautiful angel on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025. Earline as she was called was born to Eric and Willie Pearl Thibodeaux on March 12, 1943, in Goose Creek, Texas. As a young adult she worked for Boeing Aircraft for 12 years in Seattle Washington. She later moved back to Texas and went to work for Shell Oil, where she remained for 33 years.

After moving to Texas, she met and married the love of her life. She was married to Austin (Andy) Harrell for 51 years. She was of Lutheran faith. She loved Eastern Star and their raising money for the needy.

She will be missed for never saying an unkind word about anyone, and if you needed help, she was first on the scene.

She is survived by her heartbroken husband, Andy Harrell, her son Jeffery Wayne Hadley (Janeen), her bonus children, Bruce Allen Harrell (Kathy), and Shelley Denise Wissinger (Allen), numerous nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

A better bonus mom has not been made.

Goodbye darling, with all my love, Andy.

In lieu of flowers, make charitable donations to Orange Park Eastern Star, or needy organization of choice.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Minister Travis Ivey officiating.
