Gregory Stacy

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Stacy, who left this world far too soon on June 10, 2023, at the age of 33. Born on December 15, 1989, Greg was a lifelong resident of Green Cove Springs. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend who touched the hearts of many throughout his life.

Preceded in death by his father, Hershel Sr. and sister, Rachel. Greg is survived by his mother Cindy, two sons Destyn and Grayson, four siblings – brothers, Hershel and Charles, and sisters, Candi and Hazel. 

As we collectively mourn the loss of Greg, we also celebrate the life he lived and the lasting impact he made on so many. His memory will forever be engraved in the hearts of those he left behind. In this time of grief, let us remember the good times, as well as the laughter and love he shared. 

Greg would want his untimely passing to serve as a lesson and reminder to all that life is fragile and all too often shorter than we would like to think, so don’t forget to live a life of kindness, love, and compassion. Never take a moment for granted. Most importantly, even during life’s toughest obstacles, we should love ourselves as the children of God we are. 

A celebration in Greg’s honor will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Spring Park in Green Cove Springs. All family and friends are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, please bring a covered dish and memories to share with all.
