Gloria Ann Desorcy Garrett, 65, of Middleburg, FL, passed away July 30, 2018.  She was born on May 21, 1953 in Providence, RI to parents Ronald and Marion Desorcy.  Mrs. Garrett had worked as a cashier and was known for her love of our flag and our country.  She dearly loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Garrett; son, Michael Wayne Garrett, Jr. (Christina); daughter, Michelle Gibson (Joe); brother, Jimmy Desorcy (Millie); sister, Elaine Malo (Al); grandchildren, Travis, Grayson, Tyler, Blake, Cody and Hunter and great-grandchildren, Zander, Hunter, Jr., Harlyn, Haden and Carter.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, August 9, 2018 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Chaplain Reese Edwards officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time.  Interment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 1:30 pm in Lane #3

The family wishes to invite all her family and friends to attend the services and asks that if you can please come in casual attire with a patriotic theme.
