Gage Austin McVeigh, 22, died tragically in a car accident on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. He was born to Stacey and Christina on October 15, 1999. Gage was a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend. He graduated from Clay High School c/o 2018. He will be remembered for having the biggest heart, his love of laughter, and his willingness to lend a helpful hand. He was a talented baseball player and had a love for fast and loud cars.

Gage was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Michael Sykes and Stephen Dyess. He is survived by his parents; brother Dyson; grandparents Geraldine Dyess of Conroe, TX and Terry (John) Waters of Jacksonville, FL; aunts and uncles Nannette (James) O'Quinn of Magnolia, TX, Carrie (Doug) Moore of Middleburg, FL, and Brittany (Doug) Myers of St. Augustine, FL; cousins Michael, Eric, Jordan, Brianna, Haiden, Jillian, Easton, and Everett; and numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am-11:00am on Friday, December 31, 2021 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00am with Pastor Jeth Looney officiating. We ask for you to wear red or blue in honor of Gage.
