Fred passed away March 17, 2025 in the Moosehaven Skilled Care at the age of 89.

He was born to Erving and Gertude Behm on May 25, 1937 in Newfane, New York.

Fred married Alice on May 25, 1964. She preceded him in death on April 16, 2013 They had a daughter Joyce and sons, Douglas and Kevin.

He became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on February 21, 1960 when he joined Lock City, NY Lodge #617. Fred was a member of the 25 Club and sponsored 35 members in his lifetime.

Fred came to Moosehaven on August 19, 2024.

Fred is survived by his daughter, Joyce Roberts of Vero Beach, FL and son Douglas LaPort of Newfane, NY and son Kevin LaPort of Ransonville, NY
