Franklin “Frank” Lee Hutchinson, 68, of Middleburg, FL, where he resided with his wife, passed away after a long illness on May 1, 2026. He was surrounded by his wife, family and friends at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital.

Franklin married his high school sweetheart, Chrystal Renee on August 5, 1978. He proudly served our country for four years in the United States Marine Corps and attained the rank of Lance Corporal E3.

Frank and Chrystal have resided in Middleburg for the past 49 years and their hobbies included camping, hunting, fishing and diving. They also enjoyed traveling.

Frank is survived by his wife; his sisters, Cynthia Carpenter, Melinda Hutchinson and Annette Hutchinson; his four sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; one great-great nephew and several cousins.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marlita Hutchinson along with his mother-in-law, Carolyn Elaine Lackey.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, May 15, 2026, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Holly Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Barry Lawrence officiating.
