Emily Chaney Treadway, a soul of profound grace and peace, passed away gently on October 20, 2026.

Born in Spring Hill, Texas, on February 20, 1938, Emily spent many beautiful years as a devoted first-grade school teacher, planting seeds of kindness in the hearts of countless children.

On June 7, 1958, Emily married the love of her life, Alton Glen Treadway. Together, they shared 68 years of a beautiful marriage built on unwavering devotion. She was a deeply nurturing mother to her daughters, Janeann Conley and Christina Treadway; an amazing grandmother to her four grandchildren; and a cherished great-grandmother to her two great-grandchildren.

Emily possessed a rare, gentle spirit, and everyone who knew her loved her. She is now resting in perfect eternal glory, surrounded by the angels.
