Elizabeth “Betty” Torak, of Orange Park, FL, passed away September 29, 2026. She was born on August 11, 1943 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Izabelle and John (Shovlin). Betty worked and retired from the United States Civil Service as an Inventory Specialist. Betty also worked as a loving stay at home mom raising her two sons Chuck and Scott. She loved her friends, playing cards and dancing. She loved spending time at church, traveling and was married to her loving husband, Chuck, for fifty years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Chuck. Survivors include her sons, Scott Kevin Torak and Charles Torak, Jr.; and grandchildren, Matthew and Claire Torak. A memorial service will be held on October 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at The High Point Community Church in Orange Park, FL with The Reverend Mike officiating.
