Eleanor Kaczmar Qualls

January 30, 1941 – May 15, 2026

It is with deep love and remembrance that we announce the passing of Eleanor Kaczmar Qualls of Green Cove Springs, Florida.

Born and raised in Goshen, New York. She was the daughter of Catherine and John Kaczmar. Eleanor was the youngest of fourteen. She spoke often of her childhood. She enjoyed telling stories about the family farm, working in the onion fields and the happy times spent with her siblings.

She eventually moved to Florida where she met her husband George H. Qualls. For 65 years, they built a life together and lovingly raised their daughter. Eleanor enjoyed reading mystery novels and she especially enjoyed old western TV shows and movies.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Doris Bartkovsky, son-in-law Ronald Bartkovsky, granddaughter Laura Bartkovsky and many friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband George H. Qualls, sisters Anna, Stella, Sophie, Helen, brothers John, Robert, Leo, Frank, Henry, Stanley, Joseph, Stephen and Daniel.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, May 22, 2026 at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
