Edith Yvonne Layton

 April 7, 1931 – January 23, 2021

Edie passed away January 23, 2021 in the Moosehaven Health Care Center at the age of 89.

She was born to Frank and Matilda Sanger on April 7, 1931 in Olathe, Kansas.

Edie married Edward Layton on March 25, 2000. She had four daughters Marelee, Jane, Arlene, Angela and three sons, Leonard, James and Preston.

She was a homemaker and mother.

Edie became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on March 10, 1994 when she joined Sebastian River, Florida Chapter #1764.  She received her Academy of Friendship degree on March 28, 1999.  She was a member of the 25 Club sponsoring 79 members in her life time.

She came to Moosehaven on November 28, 2016 with her husband Ed where she has resided for 4 years. 

A Private Memorial Service will be held and she will be laid to rest in the Moosehaven Mausoleum, Orange Park, FL.

She is survived by her husband Ed Layton of Moosehaven, Orange Park, FL, daughters Marelee Hobs, Jane Ursprung, Arlene White and Angela June, sons Leonard, James and Preston Franco.
